As it is It is a stronghold for the democrats To control for power. DC ‘s past mayors have and are questionable to say the least Remember! As long as it’s another thing the democrats can use It will always be corrupt with the corrupt blacks they put in place. Look at Chicago!

Yes, If done legally and constitutionally. Trump marching in and taking over would be a dictatorship. Enacting a bill in Congress and acting on it as a body would be the right way. But the demorats would not allow this in any way shape of form Their resistance would be astronomical. The DC city needs to be cleaned up but as far as that goes there are many more cities that need to be "fixed" It would be a great start.

Agree with Annie, under the Democratic Party there is more violence, crime, riots and destruction of private property. It is time for Congress to evaluate it because those blues states are the worst ones in crime. The federal government should be able to interferes if these gets out of control like it is in NYC, Chicago, California, etc. the violence and crime in some states are way too high these states lose control already, so yes in these cases is necessary that the federal government take over for the sake and safety of the citizens. These mandates should be a law for those cases were the democrats or any future governments are against it.

Hello I’m Annie but Not the Annie above, I have been on here for years, I don’t want to be confused with her. I voted unsure, I don’t feel the Democrats will allow Trump to take control, they will definitely fight against him. You know what they say, when government takes over things go bad. Government changes so frequently I would be afraid what democrats would do if the were in control.

Apparently, under Democratic leadership riots, destruction of statues and property thrived in DC. Not an example to the nation or to visitors from other nations. Now that there is Republican leadership, murders and arrests are trending downward. While chaos continues in Democrat led states and cities, after 50 years of home rule, maybe it is time for Congress to evaluate how this rule has impacted DC and make appropriate changes if necessary according to their assessment!
