I think it is time to dust off your documentary - The United States of Tents. It was a very good illustration of how the situations of homelessness happened and how to get the changes that are needed in a positive way. I have watched that video multiple times and recommended it to every one that was trying to just get folks handouts and not a hand up.

I believe we need a combined approach. Mental health facilities should be made available and used appropriately for those who are a danger to themselves and others. I believe community should establish camping areas with toilet and shower facilities for the homeless that choose to live outdoors. And yes, there are many who refuse permanent housing or don’t wish to live under rules established by community shelters.

Yes this could be you. Let this sink into your brain. Illegals are not out here. Illegals have the lives these people used to have The ones who built this country and homes for themselves! All of you must remember These are Americans who were destroyed by democrats for illegals . For those of you ! Who look down your nose at these people . You had better wake up You are only a bank account or robot away from being with them .
This is not a yes or no question. Treatment centers would be great for those that are extreme addicts. But there are a lot of them that has lost hope. Get rid of illegals and democrats. And actually put America back together one person at a time . This is why . The elites/democrats want these people destroyed . It reminds the world of their failed policies created . Catering to illegals for power. These people are dying while Americans look the other way. Right now rich peoples kids are burning down towns and Attacking Americans with the very people who are our enemies within.
Clean up and clean out our demonic Politicians. And give these people as well as all of the legal Americans back their jobs and homes. !
????First off Stop the states themselves from giving the homeless drugs. California supplies their homeless on a daily basis drugs to keep them in that condition . New England states give syringes with meth and fentanyl for the homeless to shoot up Their rectums. Democratic run states are the reason these people lost their homes and jobs. Millions of illegals now have both.
As one can see ! Most are white people And they have and are leading a democrat war against white people Over 90% are blue collar workers. .

I do not believe most of the homeless want a home. They want to be left alone to take their drugs, defecate and pee in the streets therefore, I believe this would be a waste of taxpayers' money. We have spent millions if not billions to clean up the streets of the homeless. Pouring more money into a major problem without results isn't the answer. Kind of like Alligotor Alcatraz build a "project "for these people off the beaten track of a major city. Offer assistance to those who actually wants help and assistance to get out! Far stretch and needs alot of work but workable I believe.

It’s a great start. Safer for citizens and safer for treatment. Since we no longer give ten million for Africans to be circumcised its wonderful to help our own. Love Trump

My initial comment was directed to the disgusting druggies. I do agree that the “mental hospitals” be brought back and utilized. Many have mental issues and those need to be cared for, but the druggies, I have no sympathy for.

I said no. Just more $ thrown away. Just cut them off and let nature do its thing.

I did emergency services work from the late 70s into the 90s in Connecticut. At that time we had a state hospital where we could bring patients that were troubled and had no place to go. It was far from ideal but many of the people I see living on the streets now resemble those patients.

Yes,I support this. What about the push to give freedom to the medical profession in the push to reverse gender identity in underage children without parental consent? No cry about civil rights ?
This decision will help those who need medical treatment and others.

It has to start somewhere. Not only homelessness, but mental illness. There’s more involved, but it’s a start. Bringing the homeless back to a civil means will require so much more. We need to learn from those here in America who have made the effort to help the homeless. It is definitely ignored and city officials are to blame.

I have worked with delivering drug addicts to treatment facilities for methadone several times a week. After the treatment they can be very sick. Most fail this program which is just a bandaid. And a very expensive program for taxpayers. It is an addiction just like a smoker, alcoholic ect. You need several months to recover from addiction.
When the homeless seek refuge at a warming area for the night many lose what they have including driver’s licenses and other articles.
Once they lose their license they can’t even seek employment and they fall deeper into the pit.
The only worry I have is that once in the treatment center that it is well supervised and checked regularly.
It can’t become a jail with greyed meat (spoiled) and worms in the corn serving all in the name of profit. This needs to be heavily monitored as they need to rebuild their beaten body with nutritious food.
They need sunlight. And also not based on over medicating.

It’s about time someone at least tried to help!! It won’t help everyone, some won’t accept the help , but something needs to be done!

It's amazing to think this a bad thing, like these people want to live on the streets. This is a good thing.
