Senator Rand Paul is being complacent like most establishment republicans and that is being kind. the Trump Administration has a duty and a right to protect this country.

President Trump has been trying to get these foreign
Countries to stop the cartels from shipping these deadly drugs that kill our people. The countries have not stopped it and the cartels will not. The cartels have used submarines air planes , illegal immigration’ etc to get it through. When they are caught it takes years to be tried and they usually get ofwith a light sentence. They LIive our people die.
They have been WARNED. If they do not stop to be inspected they are Violating our laws. What are they caring are they drugs, a BOMB it is all the same.
This time we won for our people and we survived.
Thanks to our strong military and Current President

It is protecting the people of our country. That’s one priority of the Office of the President of the United States of America.

No , I do not believe it is a war crime. They are bring in drugs to our country. In many countries having that amount of drugs is a death sentence. We know their intentions are to bring in drugs that kill us citizens , we know they know it’s illegal , they know they are breaking the law. They deserve what they get,

These drugs are killing our people. We have the right to defend American lives. Cartels would kill every one of us if they good and are trying to do just that!

These narco criminals were warned to stop and they refused. Known for their drug trafficking to our country and killing thousands they were and are a existential threat to our freedom in America. Not a war crime just criminals getting what they deserve!

This is a poorly written question (unless someone is trying to manipulate the polls answers. The vessel might well have been flying the Venezuela flag, but if drug cartels are operating the vessel and have it under their control, is it actually sovereign to Venezuela? If you believe the vessel is sovereign to the country of Venezuela, then international law likely says yes, it's an act of war. If the vessel is not sovereign, then no, the US military prevented a drug cartel from shipping dangerous drugs into our country, and the US has a declared war-on-drugs for what, 40 years - so it's a different and proper use of military that doesn't require a useless congress to have any say.

Drug cartels need to be eliminated, no questions asked. There are a couple of RINO's that think otherwise.

  • Lorraine - 5 months ago

They are invading our country with drugs. So no it's not a war crime to stop them!

Bomb the boats AND. Where they came from

  • Scott Tomlinson - 5 months ago

Rand Paul has been disappointing lately.

  • Lynn Hoza - 5 months ago

This is a very misleading question!

  • Sandra Aschoff - 5 months ago

Yes a War on Drugs. Nothing else has worked to get to stop. So destroy the drugs and anything that transport the drugs to America.

  • Karla - 5 months ago

Hell No!! It’s about time our government does something about these cartels bringing in drugs into the US besides just talking about it. The US needs to get tougher on all these drugs coming into the country and killing thousands of US citizens!! Trump is sending a STRONG message to STOP or FAFO!!

  • Dennis Stroot - 5 months ago

They’re terroristic smuggling of fentanyl and killing of our civilians is in itself a war crime. It’s therefore punishable by military action!

  • Ralph - 5 months ago

The president made it clear that there is a war on drugs being waged months ago. And I think he signed an executive order to that effect. With that in mind, it is the United States’ discretion to carry out its obligations -these terrorists need to be taught a lesson or two so they know America is NO paper tiger. NEVER underestimate the power of the Great USA!!

These people are infiltrating and attacking our country. It’s way past time for us to stand up and take action to stop them!

As long as the cartel boat was in international waters or in US waters, I have no problem with what the military did.
It would have been better for intel purposes to have waited and seen exactly where the boat was going to offload its cargo however.
If a policeman saw an obvious known terrorist about to plant a pipe bomb in a heavily populated shopping mall, wouldn’t it be better to shoot first before he & his bomb executed their plan?

  • Charlie - 5 months ago

NO! This is law and order ! This is the only way ! To many’s
    Years wasted ! Drug cartels don’t give a ‘S’ !!!

  • Audrey Shupe - 5 months ago

It’s more of a war crime to dump lethal drugs on any nation. These people will ever dump any more drugs!

  • Dr Francis A Siro - 5 months ago

Taking war on illegal toxic drugs that kill our citizens should be more intensified.

  • Shawn Osterloh - 5 months ago

Bringing illegal drugs into America by Countries Run by Drug Cartels is a War Crime. We are only defending ourselves as the USA should.

  • Sally Afton - 5 months ago

I accidentally touched the wrong response and meant to reply NO it is not a war crime.

  • Laura Kirksey - 5 months ago

Again, you need a "hell no" button, lol. One of the things I like about JD is that he's real. Also, these idiots think that due process is for every single person in the world. It's for Citizens of the United States of America. No one else!
