Are you bothered by politicians cussing?

It doesn't bother me if politicians cuss. However, I prefer that they don't. President Trump knows Melania doesn't want him to cuss because he joked about it when he did his rallies. I think an occasional slip is ok and is sometimes funny in a warranted situation. As long as it's not in every sentence! What I think is funny is democrats are now all of a sudden thinking they have to cuss to get their point across. Problem is, they have no points to get across so I guess adding cuss words makes them seem like they relate to people. Newsflash: it doesn't.

Cussing isn’t necessary! Many of us slip occasionally but as a routine we need to hold ourselves to a higher standard. Our leaders are human and will slip, however, it seems this type of speech is increasing due to the high level of frustration when making, or trying to make, a point.

Using foul language in front of people degrades you as a person. It really isn’t necessary. A person can use other words that most of the public doesn’t understand, and probably the person who you are speaking to won’t understand either. Ask AI what other words you can use. Then use those.

Whatever happened to the ART of diplomacy? DEI personalities have no place in government!
Be like Charlie Kirk, now he practiced diplomacy like Billy Graham! Still praying unceasing in Jesus name! Amen

yes, their cussing is disgusting. They are doing it to rile up their followers. This rehetoric has to stop. Also, James Comey - so lying before Congress is protecting your family from Trump? NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW!!

I just recently posted this to Facebook:
I would like to speak to all people in authority: if you're strong enough to lead, you're strong enough to clean up your language. Every time you take the name of the Lord in vain, and every time you utter a gutter cuss word, you lower your ability to be a person our young people can look up to and our elders to respect.
It takes effort, but it’s worth it. Every time you begin to say one of those "bad” words, stop! And find in your mind a better word to use. And when you're thinking about something that makes you want to use a strong word, use a substitute even in your thoughts.
If you don’t think it, you won’t speak it.
Let me give you an example of why you should clean up your acts:
Prime Minister Netanyahu has more reason than all of our government combined to fill his speeches with gutter-style venom. But Bibi is in control of himself. He stands tall and is heard, because he knows how to express himself with words that are meaningful.
    Be like Bibi.

If we want the USA to regain its high standards, cussing needs to stop being allowed publicly (orally and written - politics, all forms of media, entertainment, movies). CHRISTIANS could lead the way.

Politicians need to be held to a higher standard, so no they shouldn't cuss. They need to use their vocabulary and show some class and respect instead of resorting to cussing.

I read this is Readers Digest many years ago and it has been imprinted on my brain

Profanity is the attempt of a feeble brain to express itself forcefully.

I would hope these people are above this.

I don’t consider “hell” as a cuss word. I don’t think actual swear words are acceptable from politicians or media. It’s not respectful.

Although, I am not bothered by it, I don’t really like seeing the cussing done.

I also don't like to hear cussing from news media outlets.
Don't they have a larger vocabulary than to cuss?
Then you wonder why six year olds use vulgarity. It's everywhere.

Although I can cuss like a sailor, I do not like it when politicians cuss. What they do in their private life is their business but we are not paying for them to be children.

I don’t like it but it seems is the only language they understand. So sad that we had get to the point that needs to use that language to be able to express ourselves. In cases like this when a person is really angry those words slip out of their mouths! It happens to anyone

No not at all. I had a prim and proper New England up bringing and that was just not done. I’ll admit to being the black sheep of the family and can cuss with the best of them. Everybody gets angry and sometimes they slip up and utter a few cuss words. Does it bother me, not at all! Having said that I believe politicians should not engage in cussing, however dealing with democrats and liberals, sometimes that’s the only way to get a point across as they just don’t listen to civil discourse.

No cussing! They need to be professional and set am example.

Not offended per se but I don’t like it. They should hold themselves to a higher standard. But then again they say Jasmine Crocket is a rising star even though she talks like she’s straight out of the projects. Zero class in my opinion.

In some situations, it just slips out. I know some people that about every other word is a cuss word, this is what I don't like hearing. A cuss word slips out of my mouth once in a great while, not very often though, it's still cussing.

No. Full stop ????. They should keep it classy and clean. Just bcuz the left is nasty is not on us! Children watch them and they need to see how they can communicate without foul language. However that said. He’ll isn’t one of the worst words ever. But telling someone to go to hell is prohibited according to the Bible. Let’s stick to that okay. Okay.

Unfortunately, it seems to be the only language that gets people’s attention these days!
