Rachana Chhetri, Monroe - Rachana has established herself as one of the hardest working students in German class. She takes every opportunity to learn and expand her knowledge. Not only does she complete her work to the highest standard, she also helps and encourages her classmates. She has volunteered to help bring a student who was absent up to speed on two separate occasions. She came to Hornet time and made sure the student understood the new grammar topic, which is hard to grasp being a freshman and new to a foreign language class. She went through the missing assignments with the student and helped her stay organized and on top of her work. Despite being absent, she completes assignments. Rachana is always engaged in the classroom, and despite being only a freshman, she is a leader amongst her peers. It clearly shows when she works in groups, explaining instructions to her peers or asking if she can assist with anything. Rachana has integrity, work ethic and compassion.
