    Moreland theatre!!

I love so many of these spots, but I’m choosing CineMagic because they’re programming rocks, and a single-screen spot is extra special. Then Academy. I am so confused, though, how is Clinton St Theater not included in this list???

So thankful to have a place that holds such a memorable place. With the best new movies and throwbacks. Hope it stays open forever and I can take my kids here like I came as a kid!

First time coming here, will be back again! Such a fun experience, staff were so friendly and helpful. Our car unfortunately died and they happily jumped it for us. Really felt like going back in time. I will definitely be recommending 99W to everyone!

99W is the way to go! We are so lucky to have a genuine, family owned drive-in nearby! I love coming to the theater in my pajamas, bringing my pets and blankets to snuggle as I watch a film. The 50's vibes are on point and are charming- no need to hop in a Delorean to go back in time. Staff is friendly and do an amazing job keeping the drive-in working well. Hope this place is around for generations to come and enjoy the movies.

    Moreland Theater FTW!!

  • Danmanwatches - 3 months ago

Every day, this perfect local theater showcases an impressive selection of films from all eras and sub-genres, featuring everything from indie gems to studio blockbusters—both new releases and timeless classics. They even have a 35mm projector honoring the medium. From great options for kids and families, to VHS night, and even nights where the movie is a surprise. And if you're a horror enthusiast, check their schedule; they offer a fantastic variety in that genre. I see their marquee everyday and each time it changes, I nod my head and say, “only at cinemagic”.

I feel greatful I get to live so close to this theatre. It never fails there will always be a group of people lingering outside in the lobby or just outside talking about the movie they just watched. No better feeling than to see and hear from people of a shared experience. This happens all the more with Cinemagic as they always have a rolodex of quirky, artsy, fan favorite movies to play every month! Also the best popcorn of any theater.

The history, the love and appreciation of cinema arts, and the beauty of the building inside and out gets my vote for best movie theater. It's so much more than a cement box with multiple screens showing movies.

I've attended fundraising events, live music concerts, special screeningslike the annual Oscarcar nominated shorts and local filmmakers. , Whenever I want to go see a film, it's the first place I look to see what's showing. I also smile rembering my mother's story about her first kiss in the balcony as a teen.

    Hollywood Theater is a gem!

Living room Theater or Studio One are the ones I go to. They didn’t even make the list which is a shame because not only are they great, but they have good food too.
