I have been an Ardent Trump supporter but recent comments on hb1 visas and certain statements on the economy and now his lack of pushback on the Apparently not so clean CR is concerning. I can take a wait and see attitude for a short while longer but after many years in the political Arena I'm not optimistic.

I wrote unsure primarily because in your report DML does not explain the reason this was added to the bill. We only hear yhe negative but I would have to know why President Trump went along with it. Was it simply because the Senate would not open the government unless this was done? Is there a medical reason? We should know both sides before taking a vote - like it’s supposed to be in government.

Since it was the longest shutdown, what would be a couple more days for Trump to send it back & tell them to remove it?
Then he could agree to sign it.
