Was and still am VERY disappointed because Cuellar and his wife are low life scum criminals and always will be. I think the President was sold down the river believing that if he pardoned them they would switch to GOP which did NOT happen. In any case who would want another crook in the GOP, someone you could never trust. If the President had any other reason I'd like to hear it because, at present, I think it was a very bad decision to pardon them.

I believe that there's more here then what we're meant to believe, potential Trojan horse?

We have to assume Trump thought Cuellar to be innocent therefore pardoning him. Trumps comments make it look as though Trump was paying for Cuellar’s switched party loyalty. Not a good look. Perhaps he will be a more centrist liberal (Fedderman, Manchin) and may vote with Republicans. Not that the whacky libs will accept that!

If President Trump believed in his innocence it was the right thing to do. His disappointment statement in Cuellar probably should have been a simple statement of surprise & disappointment. Skip the name calling.

As for Cuellar we will see if he is like Fetterman or a snake in the grass.

No, tho it did not fare so well, as the greatful gent continues to remain a Dem. . . His own Dems caused him great harm. . From which he may not recover anyhow. Thinking too about his Mrs.

I feel he thought he was doing the right thing and if they were innocent, he did!. However, it doesn’t seem like he learned his lesson! I’m sure President Trump is disappointed, rightly so!
