Gun control is nothing but a liberal woke democratic joke. It only takes guns out of the hands of law abiding citizens. Wondering about gun control and how well it works? Look at any democratically held city....constant killings. Or look at the mass shooting in Australia...how did gun control workout there? Guns aren't the problem...democratic liberal activist appointed judges are....there is no longer any punishment for violent crime...just slaps on the wrist. We need the death penalty back in every state and once convicted....sentence carried out within 365 days. Now that's deterrence! Also, 2nd Amendment is a RIGHT....to stop democratic fanatics from taking over the country. And don't forget, democratic symbol is no longer a hard working donkey...it's a LOCUST....which destroys everything in its path!!!

I agree with all the above. Just look how random people are being lit by gas and a lighter and being stabbed. As you all said above, when the idea hits someone they are going to do it. In a way I understand why the mental health institutions were closed down. It became a way to get rid of a family member or opponent by framing that person and having them put away. That needs to be addressed.

Guns are not the problem. It's the people who own and shoot these guns. They have mental illness issues and decide to go out and put bullets in people who they think they hate. We need more Mental Health Therapists.

Guns don't shoot themselves. Look at England, their killers just picked up a knife, you gonna ban knives? They can stab someone with just about anything. People will find a way to kill if they have a desire to kill someone. ????

If a person wants to commit a crime , they will find a way to do it. If they can’t get a gun they will use a machete, knife, bomb , etc. A CRIMINAL DOES NOT FOLLOW THE LAW.

I agree with all the previous comments. In the 1970’s mental institutions closed down, that was the beginning of overwhelming mental illness invading the public. People who want to kill will ALWAYS find guns. Those who want to protect their families or hunt usually acquire their guns through legal purchases or inheritances.
The Australian terrorists apparently had their guns legally. That revelation should be interesting when the country is confiscating guns.

I agree with Karen from Texas. Guns themselves do not kill. Same as cars do not kill but put a drunk behind the wheel or a terrorist, and that car becomes a deadly weapon. So many mental institutions as In Illinois, have closed and put the mentally ill out on the streets. We don’t need more gun laws, we need more help for the people holding the gun.

The mentally ill is going to find a way anyway if that is their goal. My opinion only. However some of it it is health issues, political rhetoric worldwide. How to stop it there’s very few answers. It’s gonna take years to undo what been done to the world politically
