I think Dan did a great job – – as far as the system would allow. He's a man of honor with a strong character, and I bet he was frustrated with the bureaucracy; selfishly I'm glad he's coming back to his platform and other business ventures.. I think he can get a lot more done that way, be with his family. I also believe there's a lot of swamp creatures still left in the FBI. and if Dan and Kash can fix it,no one can. We shall see.

I think he got what he was to do, and then quit , to go back to his broadcast! I think there is more to it then quitting!
We all had high hopes that Cash and Dan were going to kick ass and take names. Although their accomplishments have been significant, the deep state problems are overwhelming. Hindsight being 20-20, the FBI should have been eliminated and replaced by a new agency and a total restructuring of the entire DOJ. The ingrained rot in the FBI cannot be overcome by the good agents, of which there are many.
I am positive that Dan would have stayed much longer if he sensed that he could have accomplished his mission in a reasonable period of time. The archaic corrupt deep state knows that they can outwait this administration and go back to their elitest ways that have total disregard for justice. Dan felt like he was a mouse standing behind an elephant with the intention of rape. His desires would never be realized.
In the back of his mind, I think Dan knew that it was going to be impossible to right the ship. He accepted his appointment as Deputy Director, FBI for two reasons, he loves the country and his loyalty to his friends (Trump, Patel). Dan is definitely the guy you want in the foxhole next to you if you find yourself in a war.
He may not have achieved the results that he desired, but his mark in the FBI will be everlasting. It is sad that we send great Americans to Washington only to be swallowed up by the system. The good come and go, but the scum last forever.
Let's hope that Dan gets his mojo back. He is a treasure that entertains and informs us in a unique manner. I look forward to his next podcast.

I’m disappointed he’s leaving the FBI, but I do understand his reasoning. I think he has uncovered things we the people will probably never know about but his hands are tied to do anything about it. His family and all the fans of his podcast have missed him. I would rather see him happy and being with the FBI doesn’t make him happy.

Pray he goes back to his podcast, have missed his show and sorry, the replacements were not the same!

I don’t think he has been happy there! I also think his hands have been tied and he can’t stay under the pressure of not being able to work honestly! Cash Patel, I had great hope for him but it looks as if no person or organization can do anything because the deep state is almighty! Sad very sad!

The 3 comments prior to mine express my “unsure” response. His health being number one. Since we get multiple versions for his departure, I hope he returns to his podcast and continues the wonderful job of carrying truth to the public. Dan Bongino is an inspiration.

I’m sad to see him leave. I feel he has seen things that have him very upset and he’s powerless to do anything. The Deep State is really thick and dark and there are people in President Trump’s circle that aren’t as they appear. Information is being withheld from him that he needs and they are preventing it from getting to him. I pray he realizes who they are soon and addresses it. We the People have no idea what is happening and a lot of people are blaming the President. He is doing as much as he can! He’s one person and needs honest people at his side but unfortunately there are those who don’t want him to be successful. Pray!!
