No! Every ancient culture created walls to protect its citizens from invaders. What we are experiencing, at this time, are the invaders who live by the centuries-old mantra -- Invade, Dominate, Decimate. NYC is being decimated.

I agree with Allison Hatzenbuhler's comment.

The United States of America was built on the teaching of the Bible not no Quran.
The "Yes and Unsure" who replied to this question are incompetents and hate the US constitution and form of government.

Absolutely not, this is America. If you want the evil preaching quran than move to an evil third world country like Somalia. This is totally anti-american and goes against everything America was built on. Use a quran.....no oath taken, denied office! What the hell is America coming to?????

From some study I think you cannot be a good Muslim AND a good American. Incompatible beliefs. You’re one or the other. Swear allegiance to America or do not hold any public office.

Agree the answer is NO, the problem is the only thing required by the Constitution is the oath. Swearing on a Bible is tradition not a requirement. Until the Quran is banned from being used or Muslims are banned from holding office, or the Constitution is changed, there is no way to prevent it, and it makes me sick that this is even happening today.

America was created by Christians based on the Bible. We are heading in the wrong direction with this Muslim gentleman. The goal by Muslims is come here populate this Country with many Muslims in order to take it over. Those who voted for him do not understand the culture of Islam. IN GOD WE TRUST!!! NOT ALLAH their moon god. The people of New York will regret voting him in. They will find out very soon.

They should swear on both. You want to swear on the Quran, fine, but you also have to swear on a Bible. We were founded on Judeo Christian principles. Show allegiance to the rules of this country, or we can't trust you!

Use the Constitution. Fair for everyone.

  • Karla - 2 weeks ago

HELL NO! We The People of America don’t recognize the Quran so he’s not a Legitimate Mayor! This is BULLSHIT and every American should be up in arms! Our Great Country is a Christian nation and this should be against our Constitution!!

New York WAKE UP and voice your concern! You’re losing your state to Radical Muslim’s and Communists! God help you ALL!

We live in America not some third world country. English and our standard operations

The quran is written by Satan so.

In my opinion they should not be allowed to hold office period. Reinstate the 1950 era law that prohibits Muslims from holding office. None of them should have any control of any American policies or laws.

  • Regina - 2 weeks ago

Not no, but HELL NO! We are a Christian country, that's how it all started with our forefathes! I agree with Madison Cawthorne, if you can't swear in with a Bible, then those that won't, should be considered traitors! Please send Muslims & anyone else not an American citizen HOME!

  • Sharon - 2 weeks ago

Never use anything but the bible. If they cant swear on the bible they should not be elected.
