This shift means that the federal government is rescinding the possibility (unless re-proposed) of new regulations that advance USCDI to version 4, require support for CDS Hooks and webhooks, and facilitate the exchange of medical imaging. These are all valuable functions that align with the administration's stated priorities of API-focused interoperability, a more level playing field for innovation, and greater data liquidity.
