Self check should definitely get a discount. The business is saving $$ payroll, insurance benefits, interviewing, hiring, & training. These are significant expenses spent per employee.

Lines. Perfect for small purchases. Save the cashiers for full basket buys.

I do not like the self check out lines
I do not work for the store and I should not be doing this. I am in favor of giving a discount to those who chose to use it.

I do not like self checkout and never use it. It takes jobs away from people who need it, it is cumbersome and is not user friendly. I remember when they took your grocery bags out to your car without charge. The customer has become the employee without any compensation.
I have mixed feelings about discounts for checking your own groceries because of the jobs that have been eliminated due to greed of the grocery store owners. They need to bring the checkers back!
