The Bible says there will never be peace in the middle east until the Anti Christ is in power and brings peace.

Change would be better than business as usual. But it will make a difference to whom it is.. Has to be one that values life others as well as themselves.

Recently, I had to place another hummingbird feeder in the backyard. One of the most fascinating scenes was watching two hummingbirds, no longer than three-four inches long, fighting over the original feeder. The first thought -- this planet is always in constant turmoil. Of course, what I witnessed was an easy fix. There is no such as "lasting peace" - only, one-day-at-a-time to try to live a sane and grateful life.

It all depends HOW it is done and if the people VOTE the person in that they want and NOT allow corrupt people and terrorist controlled leader anywhere in government. The US and Allies need to make sure of that transition and that it stays like that long into the future, otherwise what happened in 1978-79 will happen again!

I hope and pray for peace but I 100 percent agree with Deb's shared assessment.

what Deb wrote or quoted was chilling yet seemingly accurate..they live by the scripture,,,most Americans don’t . We are open and forgiving. But better to stop them in their country’s then ours…God Bless America and our future generations!

No, but like getting rid of the Nazi regime, it will make many areas much safer for a hopefully long period of time.

So do you think going to a foreign country and decimating their population and installing a govt based on your values will bring a happy population?
    Are you nuts?
Tell me what country this has worked (long term) in.

I too agree 100% with Deb. Hope for the best but plan for the worst.

The radical hating Muslim mullahs must go! Their philosophy which really is not a religion, must not continue!

As long as it's not the same old haters. They have to love their country and want to make it prosper.

A 4,000-Year-Old Prophecy of Ishmael: Fulfilled in Centuries of Violence

The violence that dominates today’s headlines should not surprise anyone familiar with the Book of Genesis. Nearly four thousand years ago, the Bible recorded a prophecy about the two sons of Abraham—Isaac and Ishmael—and the nations that would arise from them. Isaac became the father of Israel, the people through whom God’s covenant promises continued. Ishmael, however, became the father of the Arab tribes of the Middle East. Concerning him, Scripture gives a striking description: he would be a “wild donkey of a man,” with his hand against everyone and everyone’s hand against him (Genesis 16:12). From the beginning, the Bible foretold that strife would mark the future of his line.

From the beginning, Islam spread with ruthless force. In the seventh century, Muhammad united the tribes of Arabia under a new religious and political movement. From day one, this expansion came with military campaigns and terror, showing a clear pattern of attacking anyone who resisted. Over centuries, raids, wars, and conquests kept this pattern alive. It didn’t go away. Centuries of terror and violence keep coming back, shaking the world again and again.

We see this prophecy in the modern world. In the 1960s and 1970s, airplane hijackings struck fear into travelers everywhere. In 1972, Israeli athletes were killed at Munich during the Summer Olympics. The attacks of September 11 killed thousands in the United States. More recently, Islamic State swept across Iraq and Syria, murdering civilians and persecuting minorities. The surprise October 7 attacks in Israel brought similar horror to towns, with families killed and communities terrorized. This terror is not random—it targets anyone who does not conform. Women are brutally oppressed, LGBTQ+ individuals punished, and people of different faiths persecuted. Violence against them is part of the same pattern of terror that has repeated across history. These are not isolated events—they are part of a relentless, ongoing cycle of violence.

When we look at history through the words of the Book of Genesis, the connection is clear. Thousands of years ago, Scripture said Ishmael’s descendants would live in constant strife—“his hand against everyone and everyone’s hand against him.” Raids, wars, terrorism, and violence have repeated this warning over and over. The prophecy in Genesis 16:12 is still happening today. The Bible does not just tell history—it warns us of the ongoing reality of human violence.
