When you say taking over and acquiring Cuba what do you mean? Do we want it to become a U.S. territory/state, something where we'll have to take care of the impoverished people, take over their failing infrastructure, taking over a huge humanitarian and economic burden? If that's the case then NO! However, if the communist government is dissolved and a government for and by the people, influx of private companies and capital to rebuild the country then it's fine as long as U.S. taxpayers aren't footing the bill. A capitalist economy would be a good thing for Cuba and the U.S.

No!! We do not need to take on another burdensome venture. We need clean up the American cities that have been destroyed under the heavy mallet of "liberal leadership." Not sure if a link can be presented at this venue -- there is a YouTube video of the "Kensington Area of Philadelphia" that seems to be getting more difficult to locate. It is heartbreaking. For years the people of Cuba have been stolen from and they’ve been suffering under a totalitarian government. There’s a great movie created by Benny Johnson any a group of friends who visited the island to see all that goes on and show our citizens all about the myths of Cuba bc until recently Cuba has not been mentioned at all by our news. It shows what happens a day in the life of the Cubans and in the end the boys run for their lives. Even as Americans, they were threatened and haunted so they scrambled to get the heck out of there! I believe the movie is still on YouTube available to watch. It’s a must see if you have never seen anything about this country. It went from a beautiful location like Hawaii and their own government turned it into a wasteland. God bless Cuba May DJT help them gain their freedom back again!

I vote Yes, mainly because Cuba is strategically geographically close to the USA and we definitely would benefit by having any rogue leaders out of there - we don't need to be allowing communist governments that close to us geographically. I do agree that it may be costly on the front end BUT, if we can continue ridding our country of the illegal immigrants who drain our systems (educational, medical, social, etc) then we should be able to re-appropriate funding to strengthening Cuba and our alliance with the people there. WE STILL NEED TO PURSUE THE WATERWAYS TO OUR NORTH although I think we have kind of run into a wall with the people of Greenland at the present time.

I voted no because we have a lot of problems in our own country right now. Not sure if we can take on additional country to take care of. Also, you have the corrupt country of Haiti right next to it, which will be a constant headache for the United States.

I voted yes because those people are suffering by not having the essentials, food and medication. After so many years under the communist regimen I think those people already knows the difference between this regimen and the freedom. Hopefully they will be able to work themselves to a better life under a new government that work for their country and the people of Cuba. Will be nice to see Cuba go to their old glory. U S will help them to recover under the advise of a great country like it is the United States of America, pretty sure Senator Rubio will be of a great help. ????????????????

Take over only if people want to be free. (Though big generational proportion has never known anything like freedom.)
They would need new leadership.
That island would be fabulous and do quite well loaded with resorts. They, like Iran, have promise of joining the 21st century!
Keep islam out, they will be fine.
I voted yes but let me be clear, only if changes are made. I don’t want to see people suffering. If changes are made for the good, and I don’t mean for the corrupt government they have. I definitely support it.
