Do you use a grocery shopping app to order your groceries and have them delivered to your house or apartment?

I have used the Amazon Prime Grocery delivery for several years now. I moved further away from original delivery area, but the savings in terms of driving, parking, shopping inside and tip are well worth it. My orders have always been picked in excellent quality, and I pay attention to sales to utilize the best prices. The "Whole Paycheck" misnomer is incorrect if you know how to shop WFM correctly. I find the organic produce, 365 Brand and weekly sales to be worth it. I am about to sign up for the Walmart one as well to avail myself more time at home working and enjoying life balance as well as for more brand recognized items and other household supplies. The other ones, Instacart, ect, inflate prices to much to warrant even considering so other shopping like Costco and Trader Joe's, I will schedule actual drive trips accordingly. I have found that pricing and selection at Publix has dramatically changed for the worse (Deli meat and cheese, whoa!) and most of the unique items they once carried are gone (for example, Zatarain's Creole Mustard, Tilda Bombay and Peri Peri Rice) and items that are available on the Panhandle are not available even for large quantity special orders.) Thus, I shop far less at Publix and now order those items from Amazon regular shopping.

Some services (like the InstaCart Publix uses for delivery) add on hidden extra costs to the food you buy to support the service and I’m leery of that because you don’t know what you are paying extra. But Walmart does not add any hidden extra charges. They also have pick-up, where you order your groceries online and then they bring you the bags put to your car. We were part of the original pilot for this service years ago and have either done pickup or delivery ever since. The shoppers pick out produce and meat very well, because they know if you don’t like the quality of the choices, you can have the price refunded.
Saves me so much time and wear and tear. I can add an item from my phone anytime I come across something I need at home so making my list up is super easy. Plus I can add items from anywhere at the store, so it’s not just groceries. My credit card comes with a free Walmart Plus membership that also gives me ten cents a gallon off of gas, which is a great benefit right now, Md free shipping of any item that can be shipped.
    Excellent service.

I’m more than willing to give it (grocery shopping app) a chance. We already do this with Amazon for every day items we used to buy at the store.

Dear Susan Ball, Your chance of being involved in gun violence at a grocery store visit is 1 in 18 million.

I use them 3-4 times per month as I don't drive. I do prefer selecting my own meats and produce so I get those when I can ride with a neighbor to the store.

Ever since Publix allows Open Carry of guns in their stores, I stopped shopping there. So, I order delivery from Walmart+ or Sprouts. It’s convenient. Only occasionally are there problems with quality. Then I request a refund through the app.
