If you shop at a grocery store like Aldi that requires a refundable quarter to use the cart, do you leave the quarter for the next person?

It costs $2 in Australia for a trolley or to buy a token but well worth it here to shop and save at Aldi.

I do not shop at Aldi because on the inconvenience the shopping cart fee causes me.

I will always give the cart with the quarter if it saves me taking it back to the building. I’ve been recipient almost as often as the giver.
I like almost everything about Aldi. Their self-checkout is the worst.

If someone gives me their cart without asking for a quarter(which is seldom) I do NOT take the quarter when I bring it back...I leave it for the next person. Otherwise I take the quarter out when I return the cart. I like their idea...no carts left in the parking lot!

I often give my cart to an incoming customer, especially after an out going customer gives me theirs.
