What is your take on the ‘coronation’ of a Nigerian king in South Africa?
It’s a breach of sovereignty – foreign traditional titles have no place being formalised on South African soil.
It’s symbolic culture – As long as it doesn’t claim land or legal power, people should be free to practice their traditions.
Government must intervene and provide clear laws on what foreign cultural "authority" is allowed.
