Maddy Cardenas Clark, Colerain: A staff member had this to say about Maddy: "Maddy is the best of our student community; she is a committed student, the most positive person, and is the biggest cheerleader for her friends and peers - literally! Maddy balances her rigorous academic course load of AP and CCP courses, participates often in school and community events, serves as a representative for a regional youth leadership program, is a committed member of the CHS choir, and has been a talented member of the Colerain varsity cheer program for the past three years. She is who her peers aspire to be. She always leads by example and fills any classroom, field, or court with so much joy. We are so lucky to have Maddy representing our current junior class with such integrity and character, and we look forward to seeing her accomplishments in her senior year. C-A-R-D-S, GO CARDS, GO!"

Cecilia End, Mount Notre Dame: Cecilia is an outstanding student who is passionate about community service. She carries a heavy course load while leading various service activities. Additionally, Cecilia displayed excellent leadership qualities while leading our October Kairos retreat. She gave her talk and led her small group with grace and compassion and is a wonderful example of a servant leader.

Eli Zehnder, Ryle: A gifted vocalist, Eli has distinguished himself in Ryle’s Chamber Choir, All-State Choir, Viva Voices, and as a soloist, consistently demonstrating musical excellence and dedicated work ethic. His acceptance into the highly selective Governor’s School for the Arts for vocal music reflects both his talent and commitment to artistic growth. Beyond performance, Eli uses his voice to lead—serving as a worship leader, mentoring peers in choir settings, and teaching himself piano to expand his musical expression. Whether performing on prestigious stages or creating meaningful moments within his community, Eli approaches the arts with heart, purpose, and authenticity—and in doing so, inspires those around him.
