Healthcare organizations are required to make results available immediately due to the 21st Century Cures act. If you prefer not seeing results online right away, you can opt out. In MyChart the option is in the test results page itself - you can click on "Test result preferences" to set your preferences.

Screening found cancer, which is exactly what it is designed to do. This resulted in a smaller surgery due to early detection. Unfortunately, I received my diagnosis via MyChart which I didn't prefer. Would rather have heard it from my physician.
