I'm retired now, but smile when I think of how I got the job I had. The internet didn't exist, so I was looking through the want ads in the newspaper. Remember those? Then a friend mentioned her aunt lived near a company with "Medical" and "Technology" in the name and suggested I check them out. I remember noting they had a couple of open positions, so perhaps I found an ad in the paper that had the details. Or maybe I found their phone number (in an actual phone book) and called. Sent a paper resume via the USPS and got an interview. It was a different time.
