The best healthcare program is a heathly life style that involves exercise and nourishing foods. Mr Mackey is right that people should be free to choose their own healthcare program and not be forced to pay for that which is a sickness care program.

It is a sad commentary on our society when people suggest we boycott an entire chain based on the opinions of it's CEO.

Last time I checked, people were entitled to their opinions, just as I am entitled to disagree with those opinions. I do not agree with what was said, but I am not going to hurt an entire corporation due to the beliefs of one man.

The editorial in the paper was the personal perspective of Mr. Mackey, not that of Whole Foods as a company. He was expressing his Opinion, hence the Op~ed piece he wrote. I wish people could stop being reactive, and participate in conversations where people are allowed to express their opinion without persecution.

The healthcare system that we have now has been going in the wrong direction for many years. It's all about the money, not about real health at all. It's just a license to kill for bucks. Too many times we are being poisoned and injured by treatments and prescriptions. We need to focus on clean air, clean water, good healthy food, natural healing methods to bring the body back into balance. Where can we find this focus in the healthcare reform? As I said it's all about the money.
