If you think about what Cheney said, and how you would feel if you were a CIA agent, how can you possibly think he is wrong. This kind of action will severely damage the CIA and morale of the CIA agents, and with it the ability of the "government" to stop incidents before they happen. The only consolation is that the liberals pushing this ill conceived, valueless action will loose more as a result of new terrorists strikes in America. When terrorists get a nuclear weapon they certainly won't set it off in Butte, MT or Casper, WY. They'll pick a big population center likely to have a high percentage of those concerned about the rights and wellbeing of terrorists.

Dick Cheney said in his interview he was "alright with" enhanced interrogation and doing what it takes to keep America safe. If it had been up to me those poor detainees would have been begging to be waterboarded! That information was critical to our national security. I think Cheney is totally correct in his assessment. It is water under the bridge and bringing anything out now is counterproductive- it will just weaken our position throughout the world. I am retired military and I think that we ought to use everything available to us to extract vital information from the enemy. They were not in military uniform and in my estimation they did not fall under the purvue of the Geneva Convention. I strongly believe that Pres Obama is not a patriot and is bent on destroying this country as we know it and allowing it to become a socialistic or facist state. If you think about what Cheney said, and how you would feel if you were a CIA agent, how can you possibly think he is wrong. This kind of action will severely damage the CIA and morale of the CIA agents, and with it the ability of the "government" to stop incidents before they happen. The only consolation is that the liberals pushing this ill conceived, valueless action will loose more as a result of new terrorists strikes in America. When terrorists get a nuclear weapon they certainly won't set it off in Butte, MT or Casper, WY. Dick Cheney said in his interview he was "alright with" enhanced interrogation and doing what it takes to keep America safe. If it had been up to me those poor detainees would have been begging to be waterboarded! That information was critical to our national security. Now, cutting off our source of intelligence the time for another terror attack draws much closer. American citizens will have noplace to hide and the Obama administration will have no place to hide either.

I am retired military and I think that we ought to use everything available to us to extract vital information from the enemy.
