Dump the whole idea and leave well enough alone. Obama, you are either the president of the United States or you aren't. Which is it ? You and your Marxist associates are as obvious as apple pie. Keep on pushing your Socialist doctrine and all hell is going to break loose, i.e., civil disobedience. Using Kennedy aka "The Chappaquiddick Kid" as a sympathy approach is simply childish and not psychologically viable. Americans, the patriotic and concerned variety, are fed up and I fear that we may see a playback of the Martin Luther King era. Hopefully, my rationale is wrong but my memory is good and I can still see areas of Washington burning. A very ugly scene indeed. Start acting like a president and you may just luck out and see a rise in your overall American "efficiency report.

The Big O needs a new plan not a revamp of the current one. And we need a new President, not the habitual liar, scripted and teleprompted community organizer that we have now. The only hope for our great nation is a massive ouster of his handlers in the 2010 mid-term elections.

His strategy doesn't need an overhaul; it merely needs to go into the trash, along with his plan. We need LESS government in our lives, NOT MORE. Liberals are so fond of misquoting a personal letter of Thomas Jefferson when it comes to "a wall of separation" between church and state; yet they're so eager to ignore his well-quoted opinion that "That government governs best that governs LEAST." They think Big Government is the answer to everything. Almost always, it's the problem, not the answer. And this plan is exemplary.

Everybody should be given a second chance. Well Mr. President, here you have it. Be a leader not a follower.

No, because I don't trust anything he says anymore. He won't tell the truth because if he did it would cause anger and make people active against his policies.

No he shouldnt try a new approach because his current one is failing and we do NOT want to see his plan pass... let him keep opening the door into his own nose by speaking in platitudes and generalizations.

My answer to the question is "NO, he does not need a new strategy on "HealthCare". He needs to scrap this HealthCare bill completelyand get out of the "HealthCare" business." He needs to leave the control to the American people for their own private healthcare. It seems to me the government is for "CHOICE", (i.e. a woman's choice to "killing her unborn"), why should they intervene in "HealthCare" choices???? Let "We...the People" decide how to spend their own hard-earned money. The reason Obama wants this to pass is that it gives the Government more control over the People and their money. 'NO! NO! NO!

Health care needs reform and Obama should be MORE involved BUT we don't need it pushed through at lightning speed just so Obama can be put on a pedestal because he said he was going to do it. Give us the same plan Congress and the Senate have!

They need to scrap the whole plan and work on some meaningful reform that includes tort reform, portability, and a good clean up of the existing system. There is no need to throw the baby out with the bath water. The proposed reform is nothing but a power grab and another step towards Obama's goal of Socialism aka Marxism.

Yes, it is time our President starts with the real issue, health care costs, those costs being driven up by malpractice insurance costs skyrocketing. TORT reform should be first on the list, the top item to address, coupled with loser pays for court costs. While there are valid malpractice law suits today, a vast majority are not. An OB/GYN should not have to deliver 80 babies a year just to pay the malpractice insurance. A doctor should not have to run six different tests on a patient just to avoid a malpractice law suit. Focus on the main driver of Healthcare costs first and after seeing costs go down, look for other ways to make Private provided care better.

Try reforming litigation caps, curtail fraud and open up to all insurance companies and you will see the rates drop without a large government takeover.

Agree that it is time to try something new. I am concerned with folks from the right on every show giving Obama a road map on getting Republicans on board.

Well because Obama is so egotistical; he will require input from many as he is unable to work out details on his own behalf. After all, being a community organizer doesn't prepare a person for the really big jobs. Now if only his advisors and cabinet people could qualify for the really big jobs, he might have a chance.

It's time Obama tried some leadership. So far the man has only proven to be the Community Organizer everyone said he was. A leader ~ no.
