Once again we have gotten ourselves into a war that politicians are conducting. Not that our entry into Afghanistan wasn't honorable. We were responding to the murder of 3000 American citizens. It's
just that the military leaders have been asked and have provided guidence on how to conduct and WIN and are lagely being ignored. Sounds like Vietnam to me.
The only reason you fight a war is to win and use all force necessary to accomplish that objective. If we do that, we can secure Afghanistan by the end of 2010.
