this is a relatively short growing season area. We get one crop off a garden so plots tend to be large to huge and pretty much everything is preserved. Weather kept switching from hot to cold. Sweet Corn ears didnt fill out and Tomato produced green stripes because of it. Then the 3 inch hailstorm with high winds added to the challenges. Heavy bruising, busted up mellons and squash, chopped up stalks. What survived had a 50 % chance of developing mold and fungus problems. Root crops did well. Got to love gardening!
