One of the "good" things about American Idol is that it really puts a spotlight on really good singers who we would have probably not even heard of. Although most of the winners have not been that successful (other than Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood and possibly David Cook), contestants such as Chris Daughtry, Melinda Doolittle, Tamyra Gray, Clay Aiken, Kimberly Locke - among others have used their post idol popularity to their advantage and have carved out a pretty nice career. Once the AI glimmer has faded, only the few truly talented singers have been able to rise to the top and be successful post AI. Adam is definitely in that group. He is a truly awesome singer with amazing vocal range and control... very rare to see these days. It is a true artist who can take any ordinary song and make it extraordinary. He did this while on idol and I believe that he will continue to shine. I honestly don't remember anything memorable that Reuben, Fantasia, Jordin or Kris have put out there. One of the lessons to be learned is that although all of these singers were great while on Idol, the truly talented ones are the most successful after the American Idol experience...which is how it should be. I hope Adam does well.

It's true, you have to keep in mind that TFM and Adam's soon to be released album are two very different projects with probably two very different sounds. But as Adam mentioned in his Idolatry interview, as long as he is the common thread, and he has a following that up to now has embraced his varied vocal renditions, he will be fine. I for one am an obsessed fan and I hope he has the ability to break many music genres. What many fans loved about him on AI was his ability to surprise and I hope he continues to surprise us with new, different sounds. MTV just issued an editorial wondering if releasing TFM is an attempt to lure a broader audience. I think it is insulting to think that we or anyone would have to be duped into buying into Adam's sound before his real sound debuts 11/24. All of this is just one layer of a multi-talented entertainer.

I think the song is great, and it sounds nothing like "Don't want to miss a thing' by Aerosmith. Beleive me I know because that movie is my favorite movie, and I watch it at least once a week. I'll be glad when Adam is more public because I just think he is one of the best vocalist i've ever heard and he is also very ,very .very SEXY!!! He makes me just get all crazy. And I know i'm not the only one . I'm a women in my mid 40's and I know whats sounds good and looks sexy.

Adam Lambert has a unique and great voice. It is great that he did not win and get condemned to sing Kara Dioguardi's terrible songs. Adam will go very big, I truly hope he does a stint with Queen and I really can't wait to hear his album.

This song is nothing special, but it has been made extraordinary by Adam's vocal talents. This is the true verification that Adam is a Superstar, one that could be as big as Elvis, Tom Jones and the already mentioned Steven Tyler, just to name a few, a true singer with a great voice.

What people have to remember is that this is a seperate project to Adams new Album which will apparently have a much more modern sound.
I happen to love Time for Miracles, being old fashioned myself and a Classic Rock and Metal fan. I'm certainly not an American Idol fan and only watched it because of Adam.
One of the most impressive things about Adam is his versatility, I don't belive he will stick to one style and why should he? He already has an impressive variety of songs people can listen to on U-Tube, everyone should be able to find something they like, and no one likes everything. It should be obvious to everyone who has been following his progress so far, expect the unexpected, which is part of the fun.

" The question remains, however, if two decades from now, “Time for Miracles” will be ingrained in the minds of pop-radio listeners the way Aerosmith’s Armageddon theme still is today "

Michael, did you go the Kara Dioguardi Academy of Arithmetic??? 'Armageddon' was out barely over a decade ago.

I like the song. I wasn't really too keen on Adam in AI. I didn't really like any of them really, I haven't liked an AI contestant for four years.
