Not all some of them are performing very good.
As for as politics and government policies are concerned the role of media is no doubt superb but some times i noted they involve themselves in minor issues related to people's personal lives. At least they need a code of conduct and this is not something only required for jounalists. Every profession has its established code of conduct and the same should be devised by jouralists.
