I don't think people who live a quiet life want their personal lives made public. However, people who seek careers that propel them into the public eye should expect the public's interest to want to know more about the celebrity. Let's be realistic, this all comes down to the celebrities marketability. Tyler Perry will remain in the closet for as long as it takes him to build his career and riches. He is a business man who cannot afford to come out; there are no financial rewards for coming out, with the exception of gay porn.

Why do we sit around and want to know ones sexuallity for no reason at all. If he is? If he ain't? This is something that should be argued around the table, on the sofa, at the bar, or not at all, BUT publicly; NOT!
He is who he is and you are who you are. All of you walk outside your door and pick a person and pose the question to them, Are you Homosexual? Just a random man, talll, dark or light, white, red whatever and ask him!
People want to know too much about the celeberties.Why? Post your private life!
If he came out of the closet if he is in one I would still love him. Tyler is who I admire not his choices. If he proclaims that he is straight and he started to date someone white blacks would have a problem with that. If he dated a regular lady from the projects someone would have that all over the place. LEAVE THAT MAN ALONE AND LET HIM DO WHAT HE DO!
As far as him hiding behind Mabel Simmons to express himself ask yourselves this, Was Christopher Reeves a Superman or was he Superman? Is Denzel, Frank Lucas from NC or Denzel Washington from NY. We don't know what or who anyone is except one person and that is self.
