They called it the world wide web for a reason.....digital work being done in one office in one market proves very little. The votes speak for themselves.....Tribal DDB is a real global digital agency network, hand the award over to the tribe.

  • Mo P - 14 years ago

it would seem that the voting for Tribal and Organic halted once it was pointed out a week ago... what happened to all the momentum if the votes are legitimate? Why stop at 53K and 62K all of a sudden?

    fishy

Not that I care, but I think an aptitude test should be required to post here.

"In December, the editors at AdweekMedia will select the best marketing, media and agency performances of the decade, covering 2000 through 2009, across the 33 categories below. These will be our choices for the people, companies, brands, products and creative work that most influenced the industry and came to define the era.
But first, we'd like to ask for your choices. We have narrowed down each category to a handful of top candidates. Write-ins are permitted. Use the links below to jump to specific categories, or start here to vote on them all."

The poll is to see how everyone else would vote. AdWeek editors are choosing. Did half of you fail reading comprehension? And BTW, CM and Blast didn't make it because they are not agencies, they are prod shops, even though they will try to call themselves agencies.

Time to start reading more Advertising Age. Rubbish poll, AdWeek. (More like AdWeak)

  • Ad guy - 14 years ago

The power of your network and your followers shows the strength of an Agencies power to reach a specific goal. Organic and Tribal seem to be the only companies utilizing digital to their advantage. Tribal may be a global company, but Organic surely is not.

  • Blanca - 14 years ago

If "bots" = real, networked humans in the social cloud, then hats off to Organic and Tribal. They seem to be flexing their social influence. As for CP+B, I totally respect what they've accomplished. But reality is, this is contest to judge agency merits and progress over a 10 year span. 8-9 years ago, CP+B was still making flyers for their Miami based clients, while other digital agencies were pioneering digital marketing.

  • David - 14 years ago

If Adweek chooses winners based on this poll, then shame on them. Tribal sent out an e-mail to all of it's employees asking them to vote. Not sure about the other agencies, but how can anyone compete against a global agency with thousands of employees? Frankly what is the point of this poll? How can Adweek expect to get a fair opinion when it unfairly weighted? Doesn't this just turn you away from Adweek? I hope when the award is finally revealed, it is based on impact over the decade and quality of work. Not how many votes this numbers game gets.

  • Joel - 14 years ago

In Tribal and Organics defense, they're the ones showing their web savvy right now. Maybe some of those agencies should stick with broadcast.

  • mike - 14 years ago

Incredibly dumb agency selections. As if this poll was valid without the skewed votes.

  • Unfair - 14 years ago

Wow, looks like Organic and Tribal are running some bots eh? Losers. They should be disqualified. Agree with Mike...looks like Razorfish *should* be agency of the decade hands down!

  • Mike - 14 years ago

If we are talking about the Decade then Razorfish wins hands down. Looking back, Razorfish is comprised of Razorfish, Scient, iXL, MarchFirst (formerly USWeb & CKS Group), Emerald Solutions, Lante, Luminent and Xcelerate.

  • Dave - 14 years ago

Uh, bit of a fail as far as poll security is concerned. I happen to work for one of these agencies, and was proud last week of how it was a rather close call. This week leaves me ashamed, as the scores are obviously hacked. Secure it to private email votes only, and not an open cookie verification. Come on. You are dealing with the worlds' digital agencies in this poll. not painters or accountants. You must secure this against idiots who have no self respect and less than honorable managers and bosses.

Oh, and I'd like to think that no-one in my company poll bombed the server, sounds like a pathetic attempt at getting us disqualified.

  • moot - 14 years ago

Yeah. The selection of agencies that were chosen are completely stupid.

    Tribal DDB: World wide agency
    Razorfish: World wide agency
    Big spaceship: 1 office
    CP+B: Not Solely Digital
Goodby, Silverstirn & Partners: Not Solely Digital

Where's Blast Radius? Where's Critical Mass?

    Horrible Poll. Complete Fail.

  • lame - 14 years ago

something about this poll is reallllly off. not cool.

  • CP Wednesday - 14 years ago

Are u 12? what is this?

  • moot - 14 years ago

    Dumb poll is dumb.

  • Get Real - 14 years ago

This poll is retarded. Everyone knows the best work comes from the smaller shops. But of course everyone (and their mother) at these massive agencies are going to be forced to vote, so small shops don't stand a chance.

  • phhttt - 14 years ago

    weaksauce, bot-voting.

  • Billy Zane - 14 years ago

    CP+B & R/GA = Epic Fail

  • crab - 14 years ago

    shmidigital

  • Eman - 14 years ago

CP+B? For real? You just lost all your credibility fanboy. This is a best all around digital agency 2000-2010 poll... not over the last 2 years. I agree RG/A should be scoring better... but I'm even more surprised that Digitas isn't ranked higher. CP+B shouldn't even by on the chart.

  • Popularity Contest - 14 years ago

Whenever I see Razorfish leading a poll like this I wonder how many internal emails went around asking them to vote for themselves. Fact: This is between R/GA and CP+B. All others should move out of the way.

  • BIAS - 14 years ago

Maybe you should block the ability to vote for the company whose IP address you're using? This is simply a visualization of the relative sizes of each company.

  • BIASED LIST! - 14 years ago

Agree with above poster. Critical Mass is my vote.

  • get the list right - 14 years ago

Why's Critical Mass not an option? Read Forester Review in the past decade? Top digital agency 2005, 06, 07.
