Sourav Ganguly turned arround te history of ndian cricket.He took as captain in difficult time for Indian cricket,showed how to handelled the gratcricketers like Sachin,Kumble,Dravid & Lakshman at the same time made the bench strength like Shewag,Gamvir Yuvraj,Dhoni,Zaheer,Bhajji etc.He showed how to retain good players in team like Dravid(Oneday team)made Shewag as opener,returnning Srinath & Nehra how they played in WC 2003.
He knew how to get the best from a player at right time.What happened after him we lost Kaif,Pathan,Balaji.

Sachin is playing for only his century and do be on the top of the score...That is why most of the time he last his wicket in 90s just to complet century he used to play very slow...where as U all can see the attitude of the Sehwag..who never think for his century he always target the run rate...Sehwag is also the invention of DADA...

It is a fact that Dada lifted Indian team from the Match fixing Scandals .In 2000 when dada took over as captain Indian team was a shattered one. He developed a young unit along with experienced hands. Dravid was an excellent Test cricketer. But he was doing t very badly in One day cricket, Dada made him wicket keeper cum batsmen, today dravid owes his 10000 one day runs partly to dada, for stabilisng his one day career. Since Dada took over India were playing as a team, the 1990s pressure of overdepedndence on sachin had gone. sachin started playing more freely in all formats. If you look at todays team -test- In oneday the main players - Sehwag, Guatam, yuvaraj,dhoni,bajji,zaheer,munaf,irfan,RP Singh,Balajee and many others were groomed by Dada. Iam an American whos a great cricket fan..it seems weird though. Let me tell you that Indian players were so coward during the nineties. Then here comes this Man Ganguly. He turned the history. He showed Australians that they can be beaten. He shaped all the players, provided a good room for the youngsters like MS DHoni,Yuvraj, Shewag. He shaped Indian side to such an extent that they were ready for any clash. The present day Indian team is all about Gangulys ambitious idea. Its a ready made team by Sourav. He developed a young unit along with experienced hands. Dravid was an excellent Test cricketer. But he was doing t very badly in One day cricket, Dada made him wicket keeper cum batsmen, today dravid owes his 10000 one day runs partly to dada, for stabilisng his one day career. Since Dada took over India were playing as a team, the 1990s pressure of overdepedndence on sachin had gone. sachin started playing more freely in all formats.
