I kind of lied in the poll... I do eat red meat, but I am a far cry from eating "any" kind of meat. I believe the Michael Pollan philosophy (Eat food. mostly plants. not too much) and so I try to eat about 75% vegetarian. I want to eat ethically raised meat and not very often - making it more of a rare treat. My husband and I have found that we feel better and spend less money in the process. However, I don't think that I could ever give it up entirely as I do think that our bodies does get more out of meat than meat substitutes.
