The 3 color would do much better in all the shots had it been washed several times prior to the photos.
Although I felt Desert MARPAT worked better, you have to keep in mind that most of these shots, with the exception of one, were shot at close range (appear to be less than 100 meters). I think that purpose of MARPAT, for closer range. I'd say the 3-color desert pattern worked better in the one long range shot, because the brown "stripes" give it contrast, where as MARPAT tended to blend into one color. Overall though I'd say GREAT test you guys/gals.
