I am currently reading more interracial romance at the moment...I'm not in a "rut," but more on the interracial "kick." The genre is new to me and I find I'm enjoying the stories and wide variety of writing styles quite a bit. I hope to write something one day soon.
When I began reading in earnest again this past summer, I picked up romance novels a a pleasant diversion. Found that I enjoyed the genre, but that the stories lacked relevance for me. I find that interracial and African American romance stores are much more exciting...reading about characters who share my race and background is more enjoyable.
