Do you think the iPad will take off as an advertising channel?

    The iPad might be an excellent device for casual media consumption ('experiencing' books, suring the web, video, etc) but I do not see a huge potential for advertising. Where should this advertising be applied at? The only marketing channel I see for possible advertising, might be the web, which is... well, the web already.
    In-app advertising is as well not a very strong communication channel, thus not interesting for any major investments.
