@Clive - I'll give you a matt so you can get down on your knees and open wide.

  • Owen Swart - 15 years ago

Yeah... I'm too, um, tall to be Spider-Man anyway :D

  • O Ren - 15 years ago

Go Owen! Been drumming up some support at work and social networks. Spiderman? Hmmm... nah - more like [insert appropriate Star Trek character here]

  • Clive Walker - 15 years ago

Oh yes ... I see .. how very odd ... I didn't notice that before ... ha ha .. no, I meant he kicks the ass of blind cripples. Seriously, it's not always about you dude!

  • BlindCripple - 15 years ago

    Clive, you're a tool.

  • Clive Walker - 15 years ago

Owen Swart rocks. He rules. It may not be PC to say it in this day and age but he kicks blindcripples ass. He's like superman. He's a bit like spiderman (but doesn't secrete yucky stuff. much. in public.) He taught Jacob Zuma how to seduce women (lick lips, push back spectacles, lick lips again, push back spectacles again). He put the ou in South Africa. Vote for him.

The top three are very close...i doubt there is anything dodgy going on.

  • Owen Swart - 15 years ago

It certainly does seem anomalous. Any ideas how to go about checking the authenticity of votes?

  • Chris M - 15 years ago

I just find it hard to believe that social media, used in this regard, can solicit that many votes so quickly, just doesn't add up.

  • Owen Swart - 15 years ago

I'm as surprised about it as you are... I hope there's nothing funny going on.

A couple of my friends forwarded the link to their social networks shortly before the spike started... I hope that's all it is.

So did Nick's - about 60 odd votes in the past 30/40 minutes. Odd.

  • Cpt. Awesome - 15 years ago

I agree with Chris there. From nothing to over 100 votes in the space of like 30min. Sounds dodgey to me.

  • Chris M - 15 years ago

I would like to know how Owen managed to solicit 80 odd votes in a matter of minutes, each time I refreshed the screen there were more votes for him.

Facebook, Twitter, Blogging, ect. result in a trickle effect, not an immediate effect.

Not cool as far as I'm concerned.
