Essentially, ANY organization that is TAX FREE means that TAX PAYERS are subsidizing, due to opportunity costs. Imagine the tax revenues that are NOT collected on such find water front property that Harvard occupies, or even better, the totally nonproductive land squatted on by churches all across america...

Even if it is a "free country" when you accept a tax free status, which is NOT free for me, you should assume some sort of moral requirement like giving back to the less fortunate. Does the phrase "trickle down" ring a bell with any of these voters??
