Hot air balloons soaring in the morning sunshine with the Colorado Rocky Mountains, specifically Pikes Peak as the back drop! Dip n Go's in Memorial Lake. The Anthem sung in the Dawn's early light by veterans and currently serving soldiers. Kids everywhere, a Multi Colored envelope eclisping the sun as it breaches the horizon creating God's very own stained glass window!!! now that's a Ballon Classic Morning!!!!

Some facts you should know about The Sunrise Hot Air Balloon Race:
From day 1, all money raised at the Sunrise Community Balloon Race has been used to assist people with disabilities.
The event is organized and run by a volunteer Balloonmeister (Rick Neubauer, 27 years) and by staff of Sunrise Community and Resources for Independence, the not-for-profit organizations that provide assistance for people with disabilities…no paid promoters or organizers.
The Energizer Bunny Balloon has been a part of the Sunrise Community Balloon Race for many years.

He has been with us for 17 years and we are at risk of losing him this year! The Festival, this year, is being held July 23-25!! Mark your calendars!!
