I think alot of people do but I grew up with a mean abusive mom and Im nothing like her with my son and boyfriend
Ugh, as soon as I had my own kids, it was like I became my Mom! I have the same arguments with my kids that she had with me, except I'm now giving the Mom-comebacks like "Because I said so" and "I don't have to give you a good reason, any reason works because I'm your Mother!"
I actually am nothing like my Mom. Most people wish I was though, she can cook, she is kind, non-judgemental, and all around great! I am so NOT a cook, I am a bit of a bitch, I judge EVERYONE, and people actually fear me. So .... nah, nothing like Mom.
