The cartoon represents someone willing to blow himself up to get some ideology passed or die doing it. Isn't that the same as Islamic Radicalism? The cartoonists misdirection of thought here is obvious to us, but think of it this way: We have men and women in battle against an ideological symbol as painted here--jihadism. It is an afront to our military and the respect they deserve for doing many times more what we could ever do with our words. Yet, this kind of sick symbolism continues to pop up exhibiting hyperbole in its lowest form. America can do without such degradation no matter which party or no party at all. And Ramirez can do much better.
As usual, Ramirez is dead on. The only way it could be improved would be for "The One" to be standing at the edge of cliff surrounded by Democrat lemmings . . .
