I was scared when reading answering that the Augistine (calvinistic belief) stance would be most supported, but I am glad to see that there are still some people out there who read the bible for themselves and don't just believe what they are taught as the majority of statistics clearly proves

I believe salvation originates w/God who calls us and we have the free will to respond positively or negatively to that invitation. Of course, without the atoning sacrifice of Jesus, there would be no salvation and cleansing of the spirit by the shed blood of the Lamb.
