Overall freight volume seems to be rapidly increasing. Are you staying busier than in 2009?

I haven't encountered any forced dispatch yet. I get to choose my loads and where I want to run. Thank you Mercer very much!

    FORCED DISPATCH???? Really???? How so?

Last year in March we averaged $1.17cpm per load moved. This year in March, which was our best March ever, we averaged $1.32cpm. I know that there is cheap freight in the system, because we are trying to give everyone as many chances to reload as possible. There is some better freight in there though.

Well said Brian. I too have noticed the "cheap" freight seems more plentiful and it almost feels like FORCED DISPATCH with this new system. I'm not impressed thus far...

Okay lets see i will say the volume of freight has come back, but the problem with that is look at what that freight is paying $0.94/mile on 48000 lbs or $1.08 on 46500 there is no way as an O/O can we survive with those prices perfect example Arrow Trucking TMC Maverick what is happening to these companies yes I know we dont have to take this freight But to get a decent load anymore you either have to deadhead 250 to 500 miles or sit for a couple days and wait to be moved up on this new board system till something comes along and no im not a whiner either im a worker and im out here to work not sit and wait i know this lifestyle comes with its up and downs but look at the percentage of the okay to good paying loads ($1.50+) to the cheap loads that we have id bet the cheap loads would win in that race
