I would expect anyone, not just my husband, to call me if they are going to be that late and they know I am expecting them. Of course, I expect him to do that ALL OF THE TIME. But, he doesn't.
There is NO excuse for not sending a quick text. This drives me CRAZY. Obviously the very same arguments have been had in my household. More than once. Courtesy. It's common courtesy!
LOL, looks like you're winning this battle. I feel the same way and I'm not pregnant and do not have a child at home. Just a worrier by nature so I start think the worst. ;)

DUUUUUDDDEEEEEEEE!!!!!!! At this point in pregnancy the answer is always wife=RIGHT husband=wrong. There is no argument, just wife=RIGHT.
1. I assume you have been socializing with males long enough to know that if you want to know this tidbit of information, you MUST make it known to the orangutan (i mean) husband in question. No matter if you're doing it for the millionth time.
2. Did you have dinner waiting?
3. and so on and so on. :)

I can't tell you how many times my husbands "be home at 6:30" turns into 8:00 (or later). The odd thing is that his phone is coincidently on silent, in his pocket, left in the car...blah blah blah. It always chaps my hide.

This is one of my BIGGEST pet peeves. If you're not going to be home when you say you are, TELL ME DAMMIT.
My vote of "No" was partially due to the fact that you are 30 weeks pregnant and have a little boy at home too. But I also understand that sometimes you forget to check in when having fun with friends.

My vote was solely based on several unknowns:
1. I assume you have been socializing with males long enough to know that if you want to know this tidbit of information, you MUST make it known to the orangutan (i mean) husband in question. No matter if you're doing it for the millionth time.
2. Did you have dinner waiting?
