I'm afraid the concrete dugouts would be another hiding place for people doing things they don't want to be seen doing and/or a structure to climb on or to attract vandals.
While an open structure would be able to be used by the neighborhood (unlike the concrete which is of NO use to us), Dr. Sterrett has convinced me that it will be used for partying. So I vote NO on the dugouts.
This is not at all to belittle the intentions of the Carson Raymond Foundation. I think they have good intentions and my heart goes out to the Raymonds in the loss of their son. No parent wants their child to die before they do. However, none of the Foundation folks live here and we do. PLEASE put the dugouts elsewhere!!! How about at Agnor Hurt? It's close to Woodbrook, it's a non-neighborhood enclosed school, it has lots of parking, and traffic there wouldn't bother a neighborhood if, indeed, league games become a reality at the field with dugouts.
