I got pulled over by the police the other day for having an air freshener hanging from there, apparently not only is it illegal, but also renders your car insurance invalid! On the spot £30 fine! So although I think it is a fantastic idea, it depends whether your examiner knows about this law or not. Could also be seen to be a little distracting too, but I don't think that is necessarily true.
