I really liked the 2007 look -- youngish, stylish & not so much "to do" every day. I too would have a hard time wrapping my wallet around the price of straightening; and I'm sure that is not "permanent" straightening either, and with all the clips & hair bands etc., I would think you could achieve the off-the-face look & feel on a hot, humid day.
