its disgusting the thought, i used to think that fur was a glamorous statement, but indeed it is a gross, inhumane, selfish act to kill a life for mere enjoyment, don't wear animal products, look at your shoes too , is that leather ? what are your clothes made of? always wear faux fur. try buying organic cotton. its a bit more expensive... but you will have the satisfaction that at least your buying real material and not not made in a sweat shop half way around the world by children for pennies on the dollar... educate ourselves! try to be vegetarian! i used to be a person who thought not me i love meat... i don't see my self eating just veg's.. but guess what i was soooo wrong. i wish i had the will power to start earlier!- a little boost. watch the movie "food inc" it changed my beliefs :) grossed me out as to the filth i was ingesting ! average person who chooses to be vegetarian will save 95 animals per year... that is not including poultry..

In my opinion it never has been justifible, nor will it ever be justifiable, to torture any animal with any means, including skinning them while they are still concious and able to feel pain!

Last time i checked, animal skin belongs to the animals that it covers. How is it justifiable to kill a living being for its skin? Those that condone these senseless acts, albeit actually perform the act of skinning an animal, let alone a live animal, should be subject to being skinned themselves. Eye for an eye! No I do not think it is justifiable in this day and age. However, I do not think it will ever stop because those kinds of ppl are just cruel at heart and do not care about any thing but themselves. Even if it is wrong to use animals for finacial or other gain, they could at least not be so cruel and kill the animals first. There are ways to painlessly kill something. If you wanted to sell my skin to someone, and I could not do anything to stop it, I would atleast want you to kill me first.

I think Cathey Worley said it very well. I totally agree with her. I did watch the video. It was horrible and I can't get it out of my mind. It was very painful to see, but I think we as animal lovers need to know what is going on so we can work to put a stop to it. I feel that the person who skins an animal alive should have the same done to them. Animals have nerves, blood, muscle and skin just like we do. Humans are part of the mammal family. Infact, we have more hair than a chimp. They should feel what it's like to have their flesh pulled away from their muscles, legiments, and tendons. Their nerves exposed to the air, feeling their heart pump blood to a skinless body while they lie in the dirt, screaming from the pain.

I eat their meat, wear their skin (leather), and enjoy the progresses of cience trough experimentation. This is how humam kind has lived since its dawn.
However, I find that regulations are crucial because we to have evolved:
1 - Endangered species must be preserved
2 - They should die as painlessly as possible.
Apart from that... I have to say, thart clothing, furnishings, or trinkets coming from animals is mostly from cows.
We eat them, and they die whitout pain so... we might as well take the rest of the resources. To not do so would be just plain dumb.
As for the chinese farms... I really couldn't care less about what chinese do to their animals when I know what they do to their people.
That is just plain horrible! There is absolutely no reason to put these poor defenseless animals through this inhumane and disgusting act. This acts have to be stopped!

As for the chinese farms... I really couldn't care less about what chinese do to their animals when I know what they do to their people.

I think it's terrible how animals are treated. Everyday I hear something new & it disturbs me. In our country this is considered animal abuse & they pay a hefty fine for it. This should also be for China or any other country that mistreats it's animals. Leave the animals alone. And people should stop wearing fur or faux fur. Is "vanity" really all THAT important??
