Politicians don't support the idea of building a casino in Newfoundland and Labrador. What do you think?

    Casinos DO NOT make gamblers.
I really hate when people say we have enough problems with gambling.
It's a good way to bring in money from tourists!

Casinos don't make gamblers. It's like the old adage, guns don't kill people...Casinos bring in outside money and create jobs. It's no better or worse than building a supermarket.

If the casino idea (if it is to be built) goes ahead, the casino should be built in a location that is already hard hit economically. I would suggest a location like Bell Island instead of mainstream areas like St. John's.

All the other Atlantic provinces tax their idiots, why don't we? But don't put it in the Battery Hotel. It would be a blight on Signal Hill and would have major parking problems. Stick it out on Stavanger Drive, lots of unused parking during the time Casinos are most used.

Absolutely NO to a casino! We have enough problems with the gambling we already have!
By the way, where is the Casino in P.E.I.? They have Horse Racing, but we still do, too, don't we?
