I believe we must have the video capability, hmmm, at some point!!! And, I believe that a year from now (if it takes THAT long!?!) there will not be ANY high end consumer DSLR or pro camera without it... How quickly it can become truly good quality video/audio and user friendly is another question. Or how quickly we can all become proficient at it, is yet another question! (and if we are so interested in that why didn't we become videographers in the first place!?!?!)

I purchased the Canon 7D last December..and I have not had the opportunity to really use the video professionally yet, only for fun. I want to learn, I need to learn, I even bought an external microphone to compensate for that terrible shortcoming. The greatest demand I face at this time is still 'still'!!! I do NOT want to get distracted by another technology with a LONG and EXPENSIVE learning curve when I really need to just work more on mastering what I already have and all that it will evolve into, fast enough!!

In any case, just to shamefully demonstrate what a video neophyte I am, I admit that I have no idea what CERN means, if it is real or just a 'remark', ?? But for now, (at 11:00 pm on a SATURDAY nite..my husband, daughter, and lab pup asleep...I have so many megapixels to release before me and hunt for the magic within, that I will let the video geniouses run free as I will do myself!!!

so right now, thank you for engaging us all with this ..and good night!!! and PLEASE keep blogging! this is more fun than SNL reruns!

    : )
