In a perfect world, we'd all have a thought bubble over our heads containing the last anonymous comment we posted online.

    Actually, Monad, it's not the thought bubble that's referred to as anonymous, it's one's last comment posted online that's identified. As for the assumption that political correctness is an inevitable reaction to non-anonymity, well, Ms Goldberg's tirade pretty effectively negates that argument as well.

    Well, the last anonymous thought bubble containing our comment wouldn't be anonymous....and therefore people would revert to politically correct, happy, feel good comments that in so many cases belie the truth.
